The new ECO version of the PowerTank is made largely from recycled materials. The barrel is made from recycled polycarbonate, while the grip area is made from a mixture of sawdust from Uni's pencil-making operation and resin - cutting down on the amount of new resin required.
The Uni-Ball PowerTank features a pressurised refill which allows it to write in extreme conditions. On wet paper; horizontally or even upside-down; in temperatures as low as -20degC.
It has the world's first transparent pressurised refill which works with compressed air at 3000hPa and employs a 'high gas barrier resin'.
All this and it additionally features Uni Super Ink (tm) - Uni's highest-specification ink that is waterproof, light fast and highly secure against tampering.
